Design Thinking: Learn to Think Like a Disruptor

Overview

Today, all firms—even traditional leaders—must think like “disruptors”, the upstart firms that are creating new products, new business models, and even entirely new industries. In this workshop, Dartmouth professor and award-winning author Peter Golder will explore a design thinking approach to help marketers see their businesses in entirely new ways. Based on empirical research and leading management practice, “design thinking” can prompt firms to disrupt current practices and devise innovative new business models and ways to solve consumers’ everyday problems. Attendees will learn the principles of design thinking and will put ideas into practice through facilitated discussion and group exercises.

Seats are very limited for this small, interactive workshop experience, so make sure to register now to secure a space. Please contact meetings@msi.org with any questions or issues.
