Young Scholars 2019

Overview

Started in 2001, the biennial Young Scholars program brings together many of the best young marketing academics in the world. MSI hosts a four-day gathering to provide a forum for these scholars to discuss their research, to encourage future collaboration, and to foster their interest in solving real-world marketing problems. The alumni of Young Scholars now number more than 250; these academic leaders are teaching and conducting research in the top universities around the world, impacting marketing practice and theory in new and creative ways.

This event is by invitation only.

Sponsorship

MSI is offering a unique opportunity for two member companies to sponsor MSI's biannual Young Scholars event. The benefits of sponsorship include direct engagement with this group of marketing’s top emerging scholars, access to this intensive exchange of ideas and insights, awareness of new approaches to your marketing challenges, and sourcing of potential future academic partnerships. Your company will also be prominently associated with this forward-looking initiative which will influence the future direction of academic research in marketing.

Sponsoring members will be invited to send up to three representatives to attend the four-day event. Other than sponsors and MSI staff, the sole participants in the event are the Young Scholars invitees. MSI is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so you may want to consider supporting the Young Scholars Program through one of your organization's charitable foundations. To ensure that the event encourages one-to-one, informal exchanges, we are able to accommodate only two member sponsors. We are asking potential sponsors to consider a donation of $15,000 to help offset the costs associated with the event.

Please contact Cheryl Toto, MSI CEO, if you are interested in sponsorship.
